Daily Activities
Join us daily for special activities happening throughout the Zoo! Encounter animals up close, meet with an educator, and even observe a special training, feeding or enrichment activity.
Animal Enrichment
11 - 11:30 AM
Watch select animals interacting with enrichment items that are offered by our naturalist team. Educators will meet with guests in front of the animal's habitat to share info on what enrichment is and why it's important. You will learn about the individual animals and their natural history.
Animal Encounters
11:30 AM - 12 PM, 1:30 - 2 PM, 3 - 3:30 PM. & 4 - 4:30 PM
Experience seeing one of our ambassador animals up close and connect with an educator to learn more about the species. Location varies based on the featured animal. Check the daily schedule in the Admissions Building to find out more!
Exhibit Talks
12 - 12:30 PM, 2 - 2:30 PM, & 3:30 - 4 PM
Stop by certain animal habitats each day and learn about the animals' stories and natural history from our educators. Location varies daily. Check the daily schedule in the Admissions Building to find out more!
Tortoise Graze
2:30 - 3 PM
Encounter our “slow & steady” tortoise friends in a new and exciting way! See the tortoises grazing out in the open grassy area near our pronghorn exhibit, and learn about these amazing reptiles during this unique animal experience.
Keeper Corner
4:30 - 5 PM
Meet with staff near our prairie dog habitat to learn fun facts about them and surrounding animals in our Big Sky Country. This event is weather permitting and is subject to change.
