ZooCamp is designed to provide creative opportunities for learning about the wonders of our natural world. Each day of ZooCamp is themed and is filled with up-close animal encounters, cool crafts and activities, guided zoo walks, snacks and lively discussions! Campers will have fun while exploring the wild world of animals! Choose from half-day or full-day. Find out more!

ZooAmerica’s ZooCrew Experience for High School Students!
Sessions held in June, July, and August
This experience is designed for high school students who have an interest in the zoological sciences, wildlife conservation, and animal-related careers. Participants will gain practical experience in environmental education and will have the opportunity to observe the zoo in its daily operation.
Interested students should have a passion for animals and conservation, enjoy being creative, and be comfortable sharing their knowledge with the public.
To join ZooAmerica’s ZooCrew, students must personally complete the Enrollment Form.
The Registration Form will need to be completed by parents. Registration deadline is May 31.
Daily activities will include:
- Science lesson
- Creating an enrichment activity
- Observation of daily care of animals
- Animal encounters
- Participation in interpretive stations
- Field trip opportunity
