Four Guided Tour Options:
General Tour
Our most popular tour explores, in general terms, the plants and animals exhibited at ZooAmerica. The General Tour is best suited for grades 2 and up.
NEW! ZooAmerica History Tour
Embark on a journey throughout ZooAmerica to learn about Milton S. Hershey’s vision, the first zookeepers, animal collections and changes made throughout the Zoo’s 100 year history. The tour will be offered to groups of 15 or more.
Inter-relationships Tour
This tour stresses bio-diversity, predator-prey relationships, and the food chain. The Inter-Relationships Tour is best suited for grades 4 and up.
Endangered Species Tour
The endangered and threatened species exhibited at ZooAmerica are highlighted in this tour, with special emphasis on endangered habitats and the influences of people. The Endangered Species Tour is best suited for grades 3 and above.
Native American Environments and Cultures
Students receive an overview of Native American life, and ways in which plants and animals were utilized throughout North America by Native Americans. This tour can be a combination tour of both the Zoo and the The Hershey Story. Each portion of the tour must be reserved separately, and both ZooAmerica and The Hershey Story must be contacted to make reservations.
