1:30 PM - Reptile Program on Woodlands Patio
Discusses four types of reptiles: turtles, lizards, snakes and crocodilians. Special adaptations and characteristics of each are discussed and demonstrated.
2:30 PM - Tortise/Lizard Activity
Tortise Feeding - East side of bison exhibit - Mon., Wed., Fri., Sat.
Beaded Lizard - Inside The Great Southwest building
5:30 PM - Paws, Claws, Scales & Tails Program on Woodlands Patio
Focuses on how animals use paws, claws, tails and scales for defense, finding food, eating, swimming and escaping predators.
6:30 PM - Keeper Corner in the Prarie Dog area

Wild Winter Adventure
December, 28, 29 & 30
This three-hour program is designed to teach children
in grades K – 5 how animals deal with the cold and survive the winter.
Young animal lovers will explore the Zoo, get up-close and personal with
animal encounters, participate in storytime, and enjoy a snack.
